A doctor talks a patient through what happens next

How it works

From worried to seen, in three steps.

Tell us what’s wrong. We point you to the right department and hospital. Then a real person follows up.

Step 1 · Tell us

Say it the way you’d tell a friend.

Type it, send a voice note, or a photo of a report or prescription. Urdu or English both work. No forms, and no medical words needed.

  • Voice notes for anyone who’d rather talk
  • Photos of reports, scans and prescriptions
  • Works on simple phones and slow internet

Step 2 · Get matched

The right department, then the right hospital.

The guide asks short questions, one at a time, and reads your documents. It points you to the right department, or to a General OPD when no doctor has named the illness yet.

  • Nearby hospitals, tagged Free, Subsidised or Paid
  • The documents you still need to bring
  • OPD days and timings, checked by phone

Step 3 · We follow up

A real person checks you were seen.

Every conversation opens a case. A case worker calls within 24 hours, applies to the hospital with you, and helps if the hospital turns you away or sends you somewhere else.

  • One account for the whole family
  • “Talk to a person” is always one tap away
  • Your documents go to a hospital only when you allow it

Clear limits

What the guide does, and what it never does.

It will

  • Ask short questions, one at a time
  • Read reports, scans and prescriptions
  • Point you to a department, or a General OPD
  • Show nearby hospitals by cost
  • List the documents to bring
  • Open a case that a person follows up

It never will

  • Tell you what illness you have
  • Suggest medicine or doses
  • Take money from hospitals to list them
  • Keep you chatting in an emergency

Danger signs? The guide stops and sends you to emergency.

Chest pain, heavy bleeding, fainting, trouble breathing, or a child who won’t wake properly. Call first, then tell us.

Questions

Good to know

Is Curent really free?

Yes. Families never pay us. Hospital fees belong to the hospital, and we show them as Free, Subsidised or Paid before you go.

Do I need to download an app?

No. It works in any phone browser, even on slow internet, and you can get help on WhatsApp.

Can I talk to a real person?

Yes, any time. Tap “Talk to a person” in the chat and a case worker picks it up.

What happens to the reports I send?

They are used only for your case. We share them with a hospital only when you allow it, and we delete them when you ask.

Is Curent part of a hospital?

No. We’re independent. No hospital pays to be listed or to rank higher.

Which cities do you cover?

Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Multan to begin with.
